Years ago I found a head-to-tail snake skin in a circle garden I was clearing. Today I caught sight of slithering movement in the raspberry bushes. A very healthy black snake (no stripes) revealed its presence. Snakes and serpents are one of the oldest symbols of female power. Welcome, garden companion!
